Due to popular demand, our Family Friendly Volunteer Series is now year-round. Family Friendly volunteer events are easy, fun, short in duration, very casual and open to all ages. Yes, you can bring your 3-year old! See below for schedule.

We hold Family Friendly events on the first or second Saturday of every month, from 9am – 12pm. Check-in is from 9-9:20am, we take a tour (if appropriate), a group photo, and begin volunteering at 9:30am. Each event is held at a different non-profit organization. We provide meaningful volunteer work, water, snacks, and (in some cases) a certificate of participation for your family.

Saturday, March 10 - Ronald McDonald House

• Avalibility: 2 family spots left
  This is an outdoor work party or “beautification” event. Volunteers will be pulling weeds, trimming hedges, raking leaves, planting flowers, etc. This type of volunteer work ensures a gorgeous campus for the families staying in the Ronald McDonald House when their little ones are facing life threatoning injuries or illnesses.

Family Volunteering: An Exploratory Study of the Impact on Families reported the benefits of family volunteerism include:
