This year the 2011 Volunteer Spirit Awards will be held on Friday, October 28, 2011 from 11:30am – 1:30pm at Arden Hills Resort Club & Spa.

The Volunteer Spirit Awards is the only local volunteer recognition ceremony that focuses solely on volunteers. It is a small way to say thank you - to pay tribute to hundreds of selfless community members that donate thousands of hours to Sacramento’s non-profit community each year.

The event is a two-hour celebratory luncheon that includes emcee Marianne McClary of Good Day Sacramento, entertainment, a fabulous lunch and recognition of ALL volunteers through personalized, engraved awards.

Volunteers who are nominated for the awards are complimentary. Additional tickets are $45/each and can be purchased by contacting the Volunteer Center. Family and friends of the nominated volunteer are encouraged to attend the event.
