Support Volunteer Sacramento

VCS Sponsors

Thank you for supporting the Volunteer Center of Sacramento!

  • Umpqua Bank
In 2007, Umpqua Bank became one of our largest supporters. They came on board as the primary sponsor of the 7th Annual Volunteer Spirit Awards and underwrote an article about VCS in Comstock Magazine's "Capitol Region Cares" edition.

Without their partnership and support, the Volunteer Center of Sacramento would not be able to provide vital services to the community - the Volunteer Spirit Awards would not exist. Umpqua understands the importance of volunteerism and community.

"Community is at the center of all that we do at Umpqua Bank. It’s who we are, what we are and why we are. Umpqua Bank is committed to making an impact in our communities by primarily focusing our support efforts in the area of Youth, Education, The Arts and Community Development." Thank you Umpqua!

  • Wells Fargo Foundation
The Wells Fargo Foundation supported the 2007 Volunteer Spirit Awards and continues to support VCS through employee donations to our programs such as "Adopt-A-Family" during the holidays. Thank you Wells Fargo!

Wells Fargo is proud to support organizations working to strengthen our communities. Through the efforts of our enthusiastic team member-volunteers and our contributions, we share our success within our communities by giving back to non-profits and educational institutions that address vital community needs and issues.

  • Eskaton Senior Services
Eskaton Senior Services has supported the Volunteer Spirit Awards through a table sponsorhip for the past 4 years, since 2004. Thank you Eskaton!

Eskaton's mission is to enhance the quality of life of seniors through innovative health, housing and social services. It serves seniors through more than 25 facilities and programs in Northern California. Additional settings are under construction or in the planning stages. Eskaton's services encompass multiple retirement living options, assisted living, rehabilitation and skilled care, home care services, adult day health care, community information and assistance and a telephone reassurance program.

  • Directors of Volunteers in Agencies (DOVIA)
DOVIA co-presents the annual Volunteer Spirit Awards and presents the Margaret Einspahr Memorial Youth Scholarship to the winning "Youth Volunteer of the Year".

DOVIA's mission is to promote professionalism in volunteer management, advocate for issues concerning volunteerism, provide volunteer managers with opportunities to network, and offer professional training and development opportunities. If your agency, business or organization receives contributions of time and support from volunteers, then Directors of Volunteers in Agencies is here, ready to support you!

  • Sacramento Magazine
Sacramento Magazine named the Volunteer Center of Sacramento "The Best Way to Get Over Yourself" in the "Best of" Sacramento November 2007 edition. Along with an article in the magazine, VCS attended the "Best of" holiday party to promote our services and celebrate! Thank you Sac Mag!
